I appreciate all your help, and your training saved my life more times than I care to remember while riding in Vietnam and South America.

Ok, this journey I had in front of me seemed a million miles from reality. I was on a disqualification for dangerous driving and had to retake my test. Just to make it harder it was extended and it all seemed impossible. Then I was introduced to Roy by a friend and decided to get the ball rolling. From the off Roy went out of his way to pick me up in his own time and take me to the riding school. Chatting to Roy about the task in front made me feel I could do this and with his no nonsense but very professional attitude he showed me how to pass my test. Listen and learn is the saying and with Roy this could not be more true. I found him a very nice person, very relaxed and just a really good guy. I can’t praise him enough and I am definitely going to take my first bike over for him to see. Well done Roy you’re a great guy and I’ll see you soon.

Hi Roy, just to let you know I got my licence yesterday and you could have knocked me over with a feather, I only got my car licence back as well!! So you actually helped me pass my car test too. Amazing, I never realised if I passed any full test I got that back as well. So here’s to you, cheers, Paul.

Hi, just wanted to thank Roy for a great and interesting day doing my CBT. Having not been on a motorcycle for nearly 30 years I was a bit apprehensive about riding again, but from the start Roy was very helpful, the whole day was well organized and each phase carefully explained or demonstrated. I would recommend this training centre to anybody interested in learning to ride, thanks again Roy.

I was looking for an effective and professional motorcycle riding instructor. Not having any recommendation’s from friends or family, I searched the internet, I didn’t have a clue about any of the companies I found, but I did know what I wanted. My requirements were: 1. Professional, 2. Qualified, 3. Quality equipment, 4. Experienced, 5. Honest and friendly. Only after taking my training could I confirm I had made the right choice. I am a technical trainer, and can recognise tried and tested training methods which Roy uses. The training was hard work but very enjoyable. Roy has two goals, to pass on the skills for you to pass your test, and probably more importantly, for you to protect yourself whilst riding and staying alive. I was extremely lucky to find Learn2ride – Thanks Roy (I will be over for my Enhanced Rider Scheme next!)

I did a CBT with you a couple of weeks ago with my friend Sam. Although I had already done my CBT and been riding for two years, the day was still interesting and I learnt a lot about riding, that the previous instructor hadn’t taught me. The course highlighted weak points in my riding and kept me interested throughout. My friend, who has never rode a motorcyle before, picked it up very quickly thanks to your help, and although he was nervous about coming as he is new to motorcycles, he is now a confident and safe rider. We both now have bikes, each a cheap chinese supermoto, but they seem to be working for now! Thanks a lot.

I have just got back from my bike test and I have passed first time! I just want to say thanks to both of you for fantastic training that you gave me, especially Simon that trained me for 5 days at a very high level. I will highly recommend Learn2Ride to my family and friends. Thanks again guys for the experience! Keep it up!

A quick email just to say thank you very much for a most enjoyable relaxed and highly professional DAS course, which with Simons excellent training and enthusiasm the correct result was obtained, a pass first time in only 5 days. I will be back in a few months time to do some more training to reach a more advanced level of riding and if I hear of any new motorcyclists I will not hesitate to recommend Learn2Ride. Once again many thanks.

Thank you Roy for my bike test. It had been 26 years since I was last on a bike and I was both excited and a little nervous about learning to ride again and going for my test, especially with all the bad press about the new test and the ‘dangers’ of the module 1 manoeuvres. Rest assured anyone reading this, with Roy getting you ready, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Roy you have a wonderful down to earth, methodical, easy to understand and highly knowledgeable way of training. You instantly put me at ease, allowing me to learn well and give me the confidence to take my test knowing I had the ability to pass. Every step of the way, told me everything I needed to know, and ensured I put everything into practice whilst out on the road rides. I’m sure none of your students forget your friendly voice in their ear piece keeping them on the straight and narrow! A great set of quality and well maintained bikes (I already miss my little GS500) make it all a joy to do. Thank you again, I was always a confident rider, you made me a safe and hopefully quality rider. You taught me to take everything I learnt and continue to learn after passing my test to become a skillful rider just like you. As well as getting me through my test of course, I enjoyed every single second of the experience, want to learn to ride folks, then you need ‘Learn2Ride’.

I would like to say firstly, how much of a credit Simon is to you. Simon was very patient and always told me constructively where I went wrong and how to correct it whenever I made mistakes. When I did the right thing and showed confidence he was quick to praise me, it was welcoming to me as I needed all the praise that he was able to give being that I was very tense and nervous about going out onto the roads for the afternoon session. I would just like to end this short notice by saying how much I enjoyed the training and that I was very pleased with myself to have passed and receive my certificate at the end of the day.

Just want to say thanks so much for teaching me how to ride and getting me through my test first time. You were great! I would recommend you to anyone considering learning to ride, in fact I already have! I went out on my FZ6 the day I passed and I loved it. It wasn’t planned as I couldn’t afford the insurance until the weekend but hey… beg your boyfriend enough to pay for it and he’ll give in! We’re going away this weekend on a little touring trip, heading up through Wales and across to the Peak District.

I decided that enough was enough it was time to follow a dream I have been having for a few years and jump in to get my bike licence. I looked through the internet for training in my area and came across Learn2Ride, I’m so glad I did, I found one amazing person to put though the mill as I am a difficult person to teach. I had fantastic support and made a really good friend, patience and guildance is what this company has to offer. Thank you Roy, something I will be following through and I hope you stay in training so I can further my dream, I won’t be going to any other company for the next stage.

Just a quick thank you for getting me through my module 1 and 2 tests. I think its a great achievement to take someone with zero bike experience and get them a full licence in just a few days. The fact I was able to pass first time on both tests is proof your doing your job properly and I will be recommending you to anybody that wants rider training.

Just a note to thank you for the CBT course on Sunday. Your calm, methodical approach to teaching meant I came away from the day with enough practical experience to get out, but also knowing that I have a lot to learn. I have already taken myself off to the local industrial estate (with Andy as tail gunner!) to practice my manoeuvres and get the feel of my own bike. I can hear you in my head; ‘cancel your indicator’, and the very best bit, ‘you’ve got a clear road ahead, the speed limit is 60 miles an hour, now wind her up!’. You can rest assured that, when the time comes, I’ll be in touch for my test. I would also be happy to recommend you to anyone that shows an interest.

A quick note to say ‘THANK YOU’ to you both for my success in gaining my full bike licence. From the 1st phone call I made, I received 1st class professional service from both of you. The training was fun, entertaining (colin) and educational. Simon was an inspirational teacher and has the patience of a saint (colin again) I would have no hesitation in recommending your services to anyone-in fact I have just done so to my neighbour. I wish you all the very best and look forward to some advance training in the future. Good luck and my very best regards.
