Our instructors will be on hand to answer any questions you may have regarding motorcycle training. Motor Serv can be found at Unit 2 Arden Park, Old Wolverton Road, Old Wolverton Milton Keynes.

First time pass rate

From 18 of our very most recent motorcycle tests, 16 were first time pass. One candidate failed the same test twice and passed on his third attempt, meaning we only had one candidate not acheiving a first time pass, making our first time pass rate for May 2011 of 88.89%. All those taking the theory test, following theory training with Learn2Ride, passed at the first attempt. Congratulations to all our first time pass candidates so far this year.

DSA Check Test

During May 2011, Roy took and passed a two day rigourous on-site DSA check test. We are proud to know that all our instructors continue to provide DSA quality checked motorcycle instruction. We are committed to working with the DSA to ensure continued quality controlled training.

Welcome to Matthew Balchin

This month we give a warm welcome to Matthew Balchin. Matt has joined Learn2Ride as a trainee instructor. His ambition is to gain his down trained instructors licence, followed by his CBT1 licence, following an assessement at DSA Cardington. From here he will continue with his training to obtain his Direct Access licence. Matt lives in MK and is married with a son, he is a keen motorcyclist and brings a wealth of motorcycling knowledge with him. We wish him well and look forward to having him on the team.

The module 1 motorcycle test is changing from 16 May 2011

As part of a review and DSA’s ongoing monitoring and review process of all tests, a number of minor changes have been identified that can be introduced before the main review is finalised. These changes will take effect from Monday 16 May 2011.

New extended CBT

For those who have never ridden before we now offer an extended CBT course, this is normally carried out over two consecutive days. This makes for a more relaxed training session and ensures that every element is covered in detail throughout the course.

Seasonal training
