Then just book a CBT which is the first stage of learning to ride a motorcycle. Once completed you should be ready to move onto A1 full licence training.
Prices start from as little as £795 for the 5 day course rising to £895 for the full 6 day course.
The normal start time is 8:30am, but you are advised to be there a little earlier. Your training will be finished generally by 3pm.
We try to keep the numbers low as possible allowing the instructor to give everyone the necessary attention.
When attending for your course, you will need to bring your UK photocard driving licence with you. If you have a full UK car licence then you should have motorcycle provisional entitlement. If you have an old style paper driving licence issued before the photocard was introduced in 1998, you should bring this with you.
If you have some, or all of your own motorcycle clothing then it’s best to wear that. Otherwise, we can loan you, a helmet, jacket, gloves and waterproof over-trousers. Please note that any loan equipment may not be a perfect fit.
You are advised to wear your own motorcycle trousers & boots, otherwise at least a pair of jeans (dragging jeans are better) or sturdy leg wear of some description. We can loan you some over trousers if the weather turns wet. With footwear, they really want to be sturdy with ankle support, such as light walking boots, but never steel toe-caps. Avoid wearing any form of slip on shoe.
You will be required to read a number plate at a distance of 20.5 metres. If you wear glasses or contact lenses for driving then remember to bring these along with you to your training and tests. They must be worn at all times that you are riding.
You will need a motorcycle theory test which we can organise for you.
